i got to go to lake powell with the cooks and had SOOOO much fun! seriously it was amazing. me and ames drove down by ourself and we were seriously so proud of the great time we were making. we were going to be so proud when everyone praised us for the speedy manor in which we arrived... then we got lost... like 3 times. at one point she made me run backwards down the freeway to go look at a sign. i felt like i was moving in slow motion. and got winded at an embarrassingly fast speed. but we finally made it and it was heaven!
we slept on top of the houseboat and had some great heart to hearts, told me about jordans bad habits, and laughed a lot. it was so nice to get away.
we had such great weather in the day! we would lay out, go out on the boat, sit in the relaxation station, ride jet skis, go on hikes, and eat so much food! and at night play games... and i think i never won because everyone was cheating.

mostly we worked really hard on our tans... i would say we were successful. if only it could stay this way! we had such perfect weather, only one small storm, but it gave us this pretty rainbow picture.
we were on a hike when it started raining sooo hard and it felt like needles. so we took off running and my flip flop came off and they were going everywhere and i was like ame waiiiiit! and she just TOOK OFF without me! seriously ame!? every man for themselves around here.
i'm not going to admit how long it took us to figure out how to get the jetski to turn on and then go......
we went on some good hikes, we never seem to have a hard time entertaining ourselves... self timer!
on our drive home, for some reason we overestimated how far we could get on the amount of gas we had left in the car... and we legitimately almost ran out of gas. we were freaking out while this car of hillbilly boys was trying to flirt with us from the other lane... unless you have gas for us leave us alone boys!! we made it, i still am surprised we did!
it was seriously the funnest trip and they were the best people to go with! they are so much fun and made me feel so welcome, loved it all!
