So me and kaylie decided to road trip out to visit her fam in cali! So we stopped at panda express to really kick start our long drive of course, and had carmel apple suckers to get us through the open road. Ha the drive was actually really fun though. We stopped at sonic and st george to get gas and a drink, then we also stopped at chipotle later along the drive to eat. We got there at like 10 o clock at night and the last hour we just sung love songs after dark at the top of our lungs with the deepest parts of our souls.
So the next day we got up bright and early and headed out to disneyland! I got my ticket from some sketchy place cuz it was cheaper and the lady was like ok if anyone asks it is your third day in the park and this is the place you are staying. i was legit practicing my speech in my head for when the park police wheeled me off to prison. ha ohh well. So we spent the day at disneyland and it was super fun! paul met us for lunch at rain forest cafe then we just went on rides and such the rest of the day. Then we went to ihop after for some late night din.
So then i woke up the next morn and we decided to go on this bike ride. It was a 30 mile bikeride from riverside to newport but paul was like i heard its really easy, i think its like all down hill. So we were like oh, no prob, sounds like a piece of cake, we will probably be done in like an hour! So he finds some random missionary bikes and we load them up and go to where the train starts. And um yeah it was NOT downhill and it was NOT easy at all! Everytime it went under a freeway it had a huge hill and there were seriously like 40... it was death! like we were an hour in and we had only gone 10 miles, and seriously my legs were already crying. Like towards then end, like the last 10 miles i was like there is no way i will make this. BUT we did, but my legs and bum hurt soooo bad. It took us like a full 3 hours. So then we went to this burger place and ate and then went and laid on the beach and waited for her dad to come get us. We were definitely exhausted.
Then we got home at like 5 and it was still hot outside so me and kay whipped out our matching lay out chairs and our twinner swimmers and pretended to catch some rays! Then we went inside and ate and watched a flick and went to bed!
Then the next day we tried laying out but it was seriously cold outside! So we got dressed and went to the mall for a while. Then we went to this mexican restaurant called, mexican restaurant. Then we went to blockbuster, got some flicks, went home and watched/slept through them.
The next day was sunday so we just like went to church normal. Then it was way hot so we went and took our sunday naps outside..in our swimsuits... on our layour chairs. ha but it was soo hot and we got fried! i guess thats what we get for laying out on sundays. Then we just had dinner and went on a walk and talked and stuff.
Then the next day was monday and we just slept in then me jake and kay went to the beachhh! It was fun, it felt sooo good. I missed the beach. We stayed for like 2 hours. Then we were leaving and we were like oh we should stop at this mall for a few min... um yeah we stayed forever and both spent wayyyy too much money! It was just such a good mall though i couldnt pass it up. Then we went home and got ready, went and saw chimpanzee (yes chimpanzee) then went to din.
Then the next morning we got up to head out!! I drove most of the way so kaylie could study. But so we were driving and we were like 30 miles away from st george and realize we are CRAZY close to being out of gas. Then we get to the canyon and the GAS LIGHT turns on, and we start freaking out. LIke kaylie starts unplugging everything and turning off everything and we made it to st george with .1 gallons of gas left... i like legitimately thought i was going to have to use my AAA card for the first time because i ran out of gas... embarrassing! we were soo relieved to had made it. Anyways, we made it back to provo safe and sound and it was seriously such a fun weekend with the smarts!! can we go back right now??
