Can you say... Lakeee POWELLLLL! 

So I got to go to Lake Powell with my second family, and it was SO much fun!  

Our car crew. It was a really long drive. Because we stopped a thousand times. We had to get an air conditioner. We had to get a cord so we could listen to jordans weird.. i mean indie music. We had to get food. We had to get oil. Jordan got car sick. Cook was driving fast and leaning into his turns. What a ride. 

That sunset though!

I became a professional surfer this trip! (professional = without rope)

The boys, i mean WE, spent basically 3 days building this alter in the water so we could build a fire on it. Worth it wouldnt you say?

Kaden said, "I'll pay you 20 bucks if Ashlee doesnt plug her nose when she falls off."

Lets just say he didnt have to pay anyone 20 bucks.

Finish nursing school, send Tay off on his mission.. and leave for hawaii!! 

We went with the Thains, some friends, and the Smarts, and it was SO much fun!!

At one of our favorite restaurants, dukes. 

If i said we only got these chocolate covered delights one time.. I would for sure be lying. 

Ok, so we went on this kayak trip. You kayak up a river then go on a hike. First of all, WHY did i go with Coates, i mean he's a great person, but he was the target everyone wanted to flip over. And when we got flipped over did he ever ask if i was ok?? No, he asked if i saved his go pro. 

So we have done this hike a bunch of times and it has always been totally fine, but apparently it has been super rainy in kauai this year. Basically we were wading through mud up to our thighs the whole hike. Because of the mud you couldnt wear shoes. But dont worry! There were razor blade rocks at the bottom of the mud. Blake started singing a song about arrow heads and daggers that we were walking on. It was kind of fun and adventurous at first, but i think we all wanted to cry about 10 min in. 

We did a hike on the Na Pali Coast that was SO pretty and fun!

It was so much fun being with all the cousins. We have the best time together. 

 Thennnn we were off to Oahu to play with the Smarts!
