This year for halloween i dressed up as this pretty girl.
I'll tell 2 stories and you can decide which one you want to go with:
Story #1: Jordan said he was getting a group together to go to a haunted house, and we were the only ones to show up. I showed up at the Cook household and me and ames were wearing the same shirt, jacket, pants, shoes, and hair!? What?! ok we for real need to stop shopping together. Everyone was so stunned and much laughter was had.
Story #2: Jordan said he was getting a group together to go to a haunted house, and we were the only ones to show up. Me and amy think we are funny and planned to wear the same outfit and pretend like it was an accident....
these are my sister friends. we have been fighting and loving eachother since we were 8 years old, and even though we dont see eachother too often when we get together its still the same. no one laughs harder than us. we call it our "bottoms-of-the-depths-of-the-soul-laugh."
and i feel like when hard things are going on, a night with these ones makes me forget about it and its allll better. love em.
My lovely friend kelsi had the idea to get all the ladies together for a weekend getaway to Vegas to see the Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil show. Then it turned out that Mal couldnt go, and Kyle got injured right before so Rach couldnt either.. so the 3 of us headed out! And it was such a blast! Now that we are all growing up we usually dont get more than a dinner together so it was so much fun to get a full 24 hours to talk and laugh so hard just like we used to!
We drove down at like 8 in the morning, got to vegas, shopped! went to cheesecake factory, walked around the strip a bit (for like 30 min), then went the the show. And it was so amazing! Seriously coolest show ever!! Then after the show we drove to St George and stayed at Autumns Grandpas house, then finished the drive early the next morning.
It was such a fun trip and i'm so glad i have these girls, love them so much!
me and my girl ames went to palm springs for our one week break from school and it was SO heavenly! we left at like 6:00pm so we drove through the night. it was nice because we made really good time... but those last 3 hours were death! soo tired. we for real listened to every song on the phone 50 times. then when we arrived we suddenly got a weird gust of energy.. which was really great because all the parking spots were full and we carried our LOADS of stuff we brought around forever... you know since we couldnt find our room at 4am.
then we soaked up the sun all week! and we for real had the best weather. we ended up going to the store and buying floaties because it was for real unbearable without them. whenever we walked away from our chairs we were not afraid of our phones being stolen... but our floaties.
we made some really quality friends at the pool... most of them were in the senior citizen category. but the grandpas all thought we were cute. there was also buckle who was with us every day.
then on thursday we headed to LA! we went to the santa monica pier first and did some serious shopping that night and got some good beach pics. then we went and stayed at brents apartment... i was so angry i brought the ugliest big t shirt for pj's when i realized we would be hanging out with his roommate. awkward. then the next morning we decided to try and get on the ellen show... ya they didnt even consider it. so we walked around LA that day. then we were going to go to see Leno, we got in line, then were like we dont even know him. lets just leave. the lady was appalled we didnt treasure those tickets.
my dad told us michael jackson was buried at this one cemetery in LA, so at one point in the day, on our vacation to Los Angeles, we found ourselves driving around a cemetery looking for michael. we just really love him. we were tempted to roll down the window and ask someone if they could point us in the direction of our good friend. turns out he's not buried there... your bad dad!
basically the trip was really relaxing and great. i think our favorite part was just hanging out by the pool and watching breaking bad at night. seriously heaven. and we had so much fun together and laughed so much. some of the great quotes from the trip:
