grandma's christmas party!!

last day on the job

anyone who knows me knows that i LOVEEEEEE my boss!!!! like so much. and today was my last day at this job :((((

i have worked at the byu bookstore for the past 3 years as a manager and i get to work with this amazing lady every single day! words cannot even describe how amazing she is. she has seriously taken care of me for the past 3 years and watched out for me and loved me! she's like a second mother to me and i appreciate her so much and will miss talking to her every day. i feel like i have gone through so much with her and have confided in her so much. she is one of the strongest, most beautiful, inspiring people i know, i hope i can be like her when i grow up! 

the second i walked in to work today someone mentioned it being my last day and i instantly started to cry, then deena was like stop that i'm crying now! then when she left i of course started crying. she was exactly what i needed my years at byu. i for real dont know how i got so lucky. 

AHHHHHHHHH i'm done!!!

ahhhhhhh i just took my LAST final EVER at byu!!! ahhhhh! thats really all i can say. this... feels good!

finals week. terrible. its been a little bit better getting to study with this handsome lad everyday though.

 And finals is an excuse to be fat right? we've had cafe rio, zupas, dominos, wendy's.... please dont judge us

I think we are in denial. Its the last sunday in september, and we are still trying to soak in some rays in my back yard. I feel like its working though.....

my longest friend in the world mallory grace got married! when i moved to alpine when i was 9 years old our parents FORCED us to play together, after a rough start we became the best of friends! it was such a great day. we went to the temple and watched the couple walk out! then went to tucanos for a lunch! and then the reception in her yard that night. it was a great day!

happy birthday kaylie lucile!! ok so this year for kaylie's bday we went all out and planned a surprise bday party for kaylie. like i went through so much detail to make sure it stayed a surprise. i got everyone invited, we were doing dessert then projecting a movie out in the back yard. then a few days before i accidently forward her the invite... WHAT?! are you kidding me. i made her SWEAR to act SO surprised!!! hahaha. i would. it was still super fun though.

we go swimming at the thains every year, bbq at bennys after, then fireworks on the golf course and it is always SO fun! love these crazy cats.

manti pagent

We went down to the manti pagent and it was really fun!! brock (one of my best friends from home) and his friend and kaylie and i all went. We went to eat at some dive before hand that was actually really good. Then went and froze our little bottoms off during the show. I hadnt been since i was little so it was fun to go again.

half marathon!

The time has finally come for us to run our first half marathon! We went to dinner the night before to carb load (good excuse to eat a lot)! Then we were going to try and be all good and go to bed early, i dont think we hardly slept at all though. We got up really early and rode the bus up the canyon. It was FREEZING cold up there! Then the run started and it was so fun! The weather was perfect. I felt so good for like the first 8 miles, then the rest of it i basically wanted to die. Buttttt i made it. Then we all went up to my house and we accidently fell asleep for like 6 hours. I would say it was a success!
